Find the right gigs on Fiverr and get stuff done for $5
Have you heard of Fiverr.com? It’s a web site where people will say what they will do for just $5.
Some examples from Fiverr featured on the website recently:
- I will illustrate your profile picture as a cartoon in my style for $5
- I will deliver an HD Video of my pet tortoise wearing your website or business name for $5
- I will advertise your product or service in a 30 second commercial on my sports talk radio show for $5
And there are thousands more… As you can see, you can get some really great stuff for just $5.
But let me be the first to warn you—there is a TON OF JUNK on Fiverr.com. People who promise they can get you 1000s of backlinks, people who offer to build a full-fledged website for you and people who say they can get you 10,000 new Twitter followers in 3 days.
These people are all full of crap (sorry, but it’s true).
So how can you filter through the thousands of listings to find the ones that are legit?
Well, if you are like me when I first started using Fiverr.com, you do it through trial and error. Using this method, I ended up with fantastic ebook cover designs, custom video intros and even website header graphics work. All for $5 each.
But I also got completely ripped off with a bunch of Fiverr gigs that over promised and under delivered. Some even never delivered!
